Land
The Stirnkorb Company Inc has been involved in land brokerage since l966. We have performed acquisition work as a principal and as an agent. We work for both non-profit and commercial clients. We acquire land and secure permits and construction and permanent financing for our clients.
We have acquired land for a broad spectrum of projects, from award winning affordable town home ownership units with architect Paul Thoryk in the Southeast San Diego Model Cities Area in 1966 to one-half acre ocean view lots for estate homes in Encinitas in 2001.
For years we developed and built our own projects. We fully understand the process.
Land is as valuable as the right to use it. And we have been actively involved in a variety of state and local land use issues in this County for years. We have served on many boards and committees relating to land use policy matters.
We have been working with the Coastal Commission since its formation in 1972. We received the 13th Permit issued in the San Diego Region by the Commission in 1973.
We were involved in lobbying for the San Diego County Flower Growers Association during its struggles with the California State Coastal Commission during the 1970's and early 1980s. We have lobbied on Statewide housing issues. We were registered lobbyists with the County of San Diego for years for several land use advocacy organizations.
We have represented as wide a spectrum of clients: from a farmer worker tenant co-op in Fallbrook, to some of the wealthiest agricultural land owners in the County. In addition we have joint ventured many properties with land owners.
